The upper brush, or tool bushing, is the wear sleeve that guides the tool shank at the top of an SB30 breaker's front head. As it wears oval the tool starts to cock and hammer off-center, so renewing the bushing squares the tool and protects the more expensive front-head bore. Is it covered by the warranty?
Hammer parts follow the hammer warranty table on the Warranty page: through bolts, bushings and rod pins 2 months; seal kits and diaphragm 3 months. Chisels follow the manufacturer's standard. Get our written approval before any repair.
Can I return it?
Yes, if it is in the same condition we shipped it, or if it has a factory defect: a refund within 14 calendar days of delivery, or store credit within 30. Get a Return Authorization Number (RAN) from us first. A restocking fee applies to non-defective refunds. Ordered the wrong part number? You choose: an exchange, store credit, or a refund less the 25% restocking fee. Check the part number before you order, or send us the part number and we check it first.
